January 2010 – Present           Calaveras County ACS Project: Phase II- Project Coordinator

·         Develop additional operational unit plans for the Alternate Care Site for Calaveras County to include the following components: command/control, patient registration unit, clinical support unit-laboratory, clinical support unit-pharmacy, environmental services unit, food services unit, access control unit, material tracking unit and pharmacy supply unit. 

·         Conduct local planning meetings with stakeholders identified by the County.

·         Develop written unit plans including unit layout diagrams.

·         Development of new or updated policies and plans to Promote Further Development of the Medical and Health Mutual Aid System

·         Evaluation of the Existing LEMSA Multi/Mass Casualty Plans and Development of Protocols as Necessary

·         Participation in local Partnership/Coalitions to Ensure LEMSA Medical Operational Plans, Roles, and Responsibilities are Identified and Defined in Public Health Preparedness and Response Activities

·         Assisting in Local Implementation of HAvBED Data Collection Including Training and Exercises According to Procedures Disseminated by CDPH

·         Identifying Potential Sites for State Requested and Deployed Mobile Medical Assets Including Integration into Local Multi/Mass Casualty System (Identify Sites for Mobile Field Hospitals)

February 2006 – Present         HOPE Medivan (Free Mobile Medical Clinic) - Clinic Administrator

·         Plans, develops, and implements policies, budget, and other administrative strategies to support programs for the HOPE Medivan.

·         Develops goals and objectives consistent with the needs of HOPE Medivan.

·         Monitors the performance of contracts and other financial matters.

·         Plans for the efficient utilization of staff and coordinates other personnel related activities.

·         Prepares reports for various local, state and federal agencies.

·         Performs as a liaison for computer issues regarding hardware and software.

 

February 2006 – Present         Mountain-Valley EMS Agency – Disaster Preparedness Coordinator

·         Oversee the administration and fiscal activities of the HRSA contracts held by the agency

·         Provide EMSystem training to medical/health system participants in Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, & Stanislaus Counties

·         Assist with provision of MCI training to local EMT and MICN courses

·         Assist with coordination of disaster exercises.

·         Make necessary updates to the current MCI policies

·         Attend regularly scheduled meetings of the OES Region IV medical/health disaster administrative committee

·         Act as staff to the monthly Emergency Preparedness Coordinators meetings

·         Coordinate the development of the Chempack deployment plan in Stanislaus County

·         Assist with the coordination of other disaster preparedness activities with Agency staff and system participants as mutually agreed upon by Contractor and Agency

·         Update the draft CDMOM document
